Cline Sayers
Virginia C.
Sayers, 89, Greencastle, died Friday morning, April 8, 2005, at her
residence.
Born April 17, 1915 in Detroit, Mich., she was the daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. Howard Cline.
A 1937 graduate of DePauw University with a degree in home economics, she
later attended Columbia University.
A homemaker, she was a member of Gobin Memorial United Methodist Church
and Bible study, Kappa Alpha Theta sorority, and Tri Kappa.
She married Gordon A. Sayers on Aug. 5, 1942. He died Dec.19, 1999.
Surviving are two daughters, Sally J. Sayers, Greencastle, and Virginia S.
Berlin, Rockville.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
Graveside services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Forest Hill
Cemetery.
There will be no visitation.
Bittles and Hurt Funeral Home, Greencastle, is handling arrangements.
