As
everyone in the chapter is preparing for the 2005-2006 school year,
I am extremely excited in the dedication I have seen from our
members and the direction that our chapter is moving in.
This summer has been extremely busy preparing for the new
school year and ensuring that the Delta Psi chapter of Delta Kappa
Epsilon at
Indiana
University
will continue its tradition of recruiting upstanding young men and
being good representatives of the Greek community in general.
Our
rush team, led by Mike Morton and staffed with Chris Gatchel, Mike
Geary, and Cameron Wallace, has been extremely busy contacting
potential members and setting our calendar for the fall rush season.
Already, we are making steady progress in recruiting quality
men who will lead the chapter in the future.
Our
standards board has been working overtime to ensure that the Delta
Kappa Epsilon fraternity will be a productive environment where
everyone realizes the importance of good study habits and work
ethic. Dave
Feldsott, our scholarship chair, has been busy working on a new
study program which will pair older and younger brothers who share
the same major. This
program will be exceptional in helping the younger members cope with
new classes and a new living environment.
Every
brother has been exceptional in their preparation for the upcoming
year. The amount of
feedback I have received on certain topics has been nothing short of
amazing and the enthusiasm is showing in everyone’s work.
I believe that this will be an amazing year for Delta Kappa
Epsilon and I am extremely excited to be able to help guide the
chapter to excellence.
